What baby items could you could NEVER get rid of?

Author: I would say aside from the things like hospital bracelets, bringing baby home from hospital outfit, I noticed I am very attached to her mobile and her crib toy that she used to gaze at when she would fall asleep.
What are some not-so-obvious baby items you would never get rid of?
What have you baby proofed around your house that never would have thought to baby proof?
Now that I have a 16 month old owning my home I have been astonished by everything that has had to be baby proofed! I am going shopping tomorrow for stove knob covers (never would have thought in 1,000 years to baby proof the knobs on my stove). What have you all found to be over board, but necessary to baby proof as well?
